I didn’t start with a plan. I started with stories.
Growing up in Kerala, I was the kid who watched films frame by frame, trying to understand why certain scenes stayed with me long after the credits rolled. That curiosity eventually led me to K.R. Narayanan National Institute of Visual Science and Arts, the third national film institute in India after FTII and SRFTII, where I specialised in Script Writing and Direction.
Film school was six years of learning to see. Learning to structure emotion. Learning that a story isn’t what happens, but what it means.
Since then, I’ve written feature screenplays, web series, short films, documentaries, ad films, and music videos. My short films Pitch Darkness, Honey, and When Tree Rains have screened at film festivals across the country.
Fragments, a music video shot entirely on an iPhone 6s, earned an official selection at the 11th International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala.
My documentaries tend to be research-heavy. Telltales of the Hills explored the evolution of Munnar between the floods of 1924 and 2018.
Heirs of Half the Sky and Earth documented a landmark legal crusade for gender equality. Both have been recognised at national and international festivals.
In 2020, I was selected to participate in the Script Writing Camp organised by the FEFKA, Film Employees Federation of Kerala.
In 2025, my original web series screenplay was selected for the Screenwriters Association of India’s Script Lab and Pitch Fest, where I pitched directly to 40+ leading producers, studios, OTT platforms and talent managers in Mumbai.
I’ve co-written the story for a feature film currently in post-production. I’ve had a short story published in a science fiction anthology by Kerala Sasthra Sahithya Parishad. I’ve taught screenwriting at a private film institute and led documentary workshops for college students.
Before film school, I started my career as a strategist at a digital media marketing startup. I’ve also assisted creative, casting, and production teams on Hindi TV shows.
These days, that strategic instinct runs parallel to the writing. By day, I help businesses get found through search and AI visibility. By night, I write. The two feed each other more than you’d expect.
